Galvinized concrete mesh cut into strips and laid under the last course of shingles or whatever kind of roof you have.
You might try doing a search of past discussions; this has been talked about before and had quite a few different ideas.
I remember seeing a review of these systems somewhere in the last year or so -- maybe even in FHB. If I remember correctly, according to the review, they are all pretty much a waste of time/money.
