Here’s a question for you guys.
hammer and their handles, steel, wood,or fiberglas?and what brand?
I’ve had a lotta hammers all the above.i got a stanley now.I’ve had 3 likem so far but the new antivibe’s claw isn’t as wide as the old I beams but it does feel good in the hand.
Been lookin at Douglas hammers when I wear out yet another rubber handle, but i do like Stanleys return policy on hand tools.Anyone own a Douglas?

This is a pretty exhaustive thread on your topic.
The Douglas is sweet! Mr. Coonrad thought of everything.
One of my favorite features is something that I haven't seen advertised. The "D" shape of the head gives you two corners that allow you to roll the head forward a couple degrees on that last stroke and countersink the nail without a big ole waffle head divot.
And besides - it just looks so tough!
