Have a client who wants me to install antique (reclaimed) heart pine flooring. In this particular case the planks will be 4″ to 8″ wide, T&G.
New addition on an old house (late 1700’s).
New addition is being framed with I-joists and 3/4″ Advantec subfloor.
HO wants to install flooring with standard flooring cleats / nails, through the tongue and then face nail with “hand wrought” nails for appearance. Flooring manufacturer agrees with this technique.
Once upon a time I remember a thread on new “antique” reproduction flooring nails.
Anybody know the manufacturer’s name? Tried advanced search and thumbing through some back issues of FHB and JLC with no luck.

I think it's Tremont Nail Co.

That's them!
6 minutes - less time than to thumb through 1 back issue.
Thanks to maddog and sphere.

How many nails do you need? Andy-what's-his-name from Long Island sold me a bag full of his extras, I'll sell you what's left. It's a pretty good size bag."Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

Thanks, but I don't think it will help.
450 sqft of flooring.
Tremont says 37 nails per pound @ 3" flooring manufacturer recommended size.
Have not done the math yet.
