Guys,
Any ideas or products for hanging a commercial lav. in an existing bathroom where you don’t have any blocking in the wall and the lav bracket is only going to hit one stud? I’m afraid someone will lean on it and pull it out without some better attachment.

are you allowed to cut into the wall?
Can you hold the laser level while I shave?
I wouldn't do it without installing the proper blocking.
If it's a tile wall or any finish other then painted I'd look around to the backside of the wall and see if you can install the blocking from behind.
If not, then it simply takes what it takes to repair it if they want the lav bad enough
Can't for the life of me remember what it's called now but someone makes a "wall anchor" for shower grab bars that expands very large, like 2 or 3" and is supposed to handle a tremendous load...

Thanks guys.
I am reluctant to cut into the wall even though I know its the best way as no one will pay for that work yet the bracket might be the way to go. I knew they had those but didn't know Lowes had them.
Thanks!
I wouldn't do it. As soon as someone leans on that sink, and they will, you'll be getting a call to come back and fix your "shady workmanship".
