We started our first Hardiplank type siding job this week so I rented a shear to try out. The ones we used are kind of a modified drill motor with a movable jaw that chews through the siding like tin benders use. Seemed ok, but I want to ask if anyone has any advice on types or brands before I go buy one. Thanks – Jim (sure takes some gettin’ used to, gapping that stuff 1/8″ at the trim, huh?)
