How do you guys trim around circular (or semi-circular) windows with fiber cement? Is there a stock solution from Hardie or another manufacturer that I haven’t seen, or do you cut and somehow laminate 4’x8′ panels to get to 3/4″ thick? The window in question is about 36″ in diameter
thanks for any advice.

Is it possible to cut two pieces out of 1x8 or 1x12 Hardie trim? I've done that with cedar before.
Just a thought, Dave
Not really possible that I know of. You could try lamination, but I doubt it would last or look good. I'd consider using a different man-made product or wood. Alternately, and expensively, replace the window with one that has trim built-in.
The guy answering the phone for James Hardie had nothing to offer out of the box... just not worth it for them to handle such situations, I guess.
If my calculations are right, 2 pieces of 11.5" will do a window of radius 27" or less, assuming 3.5" trim ... I'll have to double check that, but it doesn't seem like a horrible solution. probably better than changing materials.
Thanks to both of you... didn't see your replies until now.
