We’re rebuilding some old outdoor furniture. We’re also in the process of replicating some of the furniture. We need to get some replacement hardware, but we can’t seem to find it.
The hardware we need consists of a basic hook, spring, and strap system. The hook is attached to the frame of the seat and back. The strap attaches to the spring hook on each side.
Does anyone know where I can find this kind of hardware? I’ve tried searching Rocker, Lee Valley, McFeeley’s, and the local big box stores.
Thanks!
KJ

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Hello,Here, finally, are photos of the materials we're trying to replace. We are looking for a supplier that could provide the metal straps and the spring hook parts.I've searched many upholstery sites and furniture part companies on the web. Alas, I've had no success. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.Regards!

The springs and screw eyes are standard hardware items.http://store.perfectproductsonline.com/helicalsprings.html
http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1291841Can't really tell from these if they are the right size. And any sheet metal shop can cut strips of metal and punch a hole in the end..

Thanks very much!
Galvanized straps Any air conditioning/ sheet metal contractor has tons of them The rusty springs can be wire brushed and dipped in paint (Epoxy) Take a sample strap with you and the contractor will punch the holes for you The tool for punching the holes is called a Whitney PunchMaybe you can rent or borrow one ? Steinmetz
Is the strap metal or plastic? Check upholstery supplies
It's metal hardware and plastic straps. I did search about a dozen upholstery I'll try to borrow a camera and upload photos. Thanks,
