I know this situation is not ideal, but i would like to run 3/4 heart pine parallel with floor joists. Joists are 2 x 10 16 o.c. with 1 x 12 pine decking @ 45 degrees with 5/8 cdx on tap of that. Question is this still viable, mainly for aesthetics. Thanks.

Quite viable.....go for it.
You`ve got two layers of subflooring and unless you were planning on nailing only at the joists, flooring direction is irrelevant.
Lemme get this straight....
