I just ordered the rest of the wood I’ll need for my house. While it’s gone up a lot (black walnut in16/4 that’s 18 feet long costs me $1.50 now when it used to be $.60 )
But that’s cheap, my local hardwood supplier quoted me $23.32 a bd.ft. for the same thing (except it was kiln dried and surfaced on all four sides)
Any way I’ll share prices with you, remember everything is rough and green at the mill.. There is a premium if you want a whole load of FAS all prices are per 1000 bd.ft.
