I’ve just installed a front porch using DEK-TEK and the hidden deck fastening system EB-TY. The installation was a little more mentally challenging until I switched from a bisquit cutter to a router to make the the kerfs in the decking. The customer couldn’t believe how nice the job looked. Does anyone have any info on the longevity of these products? The EB-TY says 100 years because it’s high density polypropelene and is installed using a stainless steel screw (makes sense). The decking is also plastic and combined with the plastic fastener and the stainless steel screw makes perfect sense, right?
