This is a ceramic tile product with a built-in pedestal base system that is designed to go down directly over EPDM, without grout or mortar.
Have you seen something similar, or used it?
What was the cost per unit?
Thanks
Nathan

Any thoughts, all you right coasters?
*Looks interesting. Guess what - you get to try it and tell us!
*b WBA At Your ServiceThis is interesting but has got to be seriously expensive. They are gluing rubber to the backs of ceramic tiles. I get leery when the manufacturer states in their literature that you apply the product over their rubber membrane. Sounds like a Firestone or Carlisle rubber with a fancy logo and price to boot. The rubber glued on the back of the tiles looks like one type of Carlisle walking pad. You could buy them yourself and glue them on the backs of your own tiles. If it's for yourself. If you look at the manufacturer's photo, you will see tiles at the stair nosings. What happens when you step on those tiles since they are not fastened to anything ? They will do a backflip. Definitely a problem. Otherwise, on a simple flat patio, this is really an interesting idea.
*Looks like a good idea.......but I'm wondering about all the dirt/grime build up with the open joints. Guessing after a few short years you'd have nice moss filled joints. Jeff
