I’m thinking of putting down wide-plank, heart pine engineered flooring (floating installation) in a 12′ x 10′ home office. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding the source of such flooring. I did a google search and there are many different sources. I’m just looking for sources that people have used and recommend. I’m a DIY’er and thought the floating approach would be the simplest and least expensive option.
Thanks

No idea where you could get that, but I'll say that nailing down a floor isn't trickier than clicking one together. If you're unsure how to do it, browse the "how-to" section on the main page. There are a couple good articles on installing hardwood floors.
I've installed one hardwood floor so far, with a manual floor nailer. 10 x 12 will go faaaaaaast. After I was done, I realized I'd never bother with laminate again.
I really dislike the feel of floating floors, and they make for goofy, awkward transitions.
