I’ve repositioned my A/C condenser about 10 feet away from it’s original spot – on the other side of the ceement pad behind the garage. To make the area functional, I buried the conduit and coolant lines inside a 3″ sch 80 pvc drain line with elbows.
Now, I have two transitions I need to make both weatherproof and attractive. Imagine a 3″ white pvc elbow coming outta the ground – actually two – with a flex 1″ electrical conduit and the insulated freon lines coming out (or going in). How can I make that transition pretty?
Is there a heat shrink or stretch tape (other than duct tape) that I could use to wrap around each one to titen things up?

Duluth Trading has some stuff called ''Extreme Tape" it's a rubber that sticks to almost anything and it welds to itself. REAL strectchy and good even for an exhaust pipe/ radiator hose fix. Neat stuff.
I'd try it. Exp. I think I paid 10 bucks for someting silly like 20'x1" wide, but I carry a roll in van for emergency type stuff. If it's not uv stable, mabey paint it?

the rubber boot like that goes on a disposeall... they make em up to 2" and they step down.. cut em when u get thr size you want... now there is a tape we use to sell to the military self bonding tape made by raychem... was about 1" wide... once yo wrapped something with it it fused to itself to become one... was some cool stuff... the rolls we sold the military we like $60 a roll... i use to request "samples" alot...

Thats a great price, but I seem to recall that red is slightly thinner than the black 10' rolls, probably don't matter in most cases.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Paint it. Wipe it with a strong solvent like acetone or lacquer thinner and spray it whatever color you want. I sprayed the PVC for the 1st floor furnace about 10 years ago and haven't touched it since. I think I used RustOleum reddish-brown primer and since it does a pretty good job of matching the brick, that stayed as the color.
