Help for Aging, Ailing Bodies

Many thanks to the reader who reported about Vitamin B-6 as a remedy for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome; since reading his letter, I have been taking B-6 daily and it really seems to work! It also seems to give some releif to my “Carpenters Elbow” (or “Tendonitis” or “Tennis Elbow”). Another aid for Carpenters Elbow which I have found is an “Elbow Shock Absorber” developed for tennis players. This product looks somewhat like a wrist watch, has an adjustable velcro band, and a bulb filled with Mercury to absorb shock. Test results show that this device can absorb up to 70% of shock transmitted through the hand before it reaches the elbow. It is manufactured by VPI Inc.(604)947-2258; cost is about $30.00. I have been wearing one for about five years now; and can swing a hammer all day long almost completely pain free! They are pretty tough too, I am only on my second one (lost the first one to a falling 2X10!) You may also be able to locate one at a local sporting goods store or tennis pro shop.

    Hello Y'all!

I would like to take this opportunity to share my success story about Mrs. Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar - Miracle Health System. The book can purchased for $6.95 and is worth 100 times that. ISBN #0-87790-041-8.

You can also reach their web site at http://www.bragg.com.

Get the book. I urge you.

    Hope this helps.

*Jeffrey,It seems to me that you'd be in better shape if you didn't have 2x10's falling on you in the first place.Pete Draganic

*"a bulb filled with Mercury to absorb shock"?! I hope that the 2x10 didn't split that thing open or the EPA may be listing that workplace as a superfund site...Seriously, metallic mercury is classified as a neurotoxin. Compounds of mercury are far more lethal, but metallic mercury can cause neurological impairment. From the AboutCom health summary site:"Mercury is a toxic metal, and although its vapor pressure is low at room temperature, a mercury spill can produce enough gaseous mercury to pose a significant health risk."http://chemistry.about.com/education/chemistry/library/weekly/aa061499.htm?iam=mtHowever, the floor of my sophomore physics lab at Oregon State was covered with little droplets of mercury and haven't suffered too many ill effects, except this twich and maybe ... er, um, what was I just talking about...

*Eat well, stay fit die anyway. In the meantime have a BC powder. Skip

*Skip: Are you speaking of BC powder as in snow. How has it been up there? Getting better down here in Idaho but nothing great yet. I know yoga is too trendy and wimpy and all that crap but there are some strong old dudes out there who don't look their age. Let 'er rip.
