Size? Materials? Construciton details?
Looks like they might be handles that go on adjustment wheels. Them might be spinners.

Oh, those are....no, wait, it isn't one of those....
sure got my curiosity up. only thing it kind of reminds me of are the old-time window weights in old-time double-hung windows. I hope someone out there knows.

come on every body, they are obviously handles for ....... "rest of the pictures"
You need a clearer picture of the non-handled end, but at first glance they appear to be a handle that attaches to the un-handled end of a one person cross cut saw.
If you look closely at a one person cross cut saw there might be a small hole (1/8" to 3/16") near the end of the saw blade, on the other end from the saw grip, on the side away from the teeth. If those are what I think they are, those handles have a threaded metal core with a hook end or a reverse hook end which engages the hole and then the handles screws down on the threaded rod and locks to the top og the saw blade.
Better pictures of each piece might tell.
But, I've been wrong many times before and will be again.
Jim
you are right....i found out from another source they are in fact handles for a 2 person saw......thanks for the help and comic relief.....my reguards to the guy who lost his wife to one of these......Also, they are of no use to us, if someone is interested in these handles (for whatever reason, maybe a present for your wife) I will glad to let them go. We have a box of 20 or so....you never know what someone may use them for. Think I'm gonna try ebay......
Thanks again guys. good luck, Dave
