we are a new company and have almost completed our first spec home. today we have been asked to make a bid on a presale for the lot next door. as i always like to keep a step ahead, i would like to ask for help from more experienced builders in regards to a contract. would anyone be willing to share the format for a comprehensive contract for a presale? i have no experience and want to be sure all the bases are covered. also , need a little guidance as how to set allowances. this will be a great opportunity for us. i just want to be sure that we come out of it with a reasonable profit and a satisified homeowner. appreciate any advice anyone may have.
