Lately, I’ve been seeing more cases of people offering advice on complex problems….as in structural…..then asking a question on a similar subject….as in more BASIC structural. If ya don’t know, don’t answer! I have no problem with someone trying to collapse their own home…..but could ya try not to destroy others. This isn’t an anti-diy thing, but it’s the advice of diy-ers I’m refering to.
If you read closely, most of the pro’s throw out guesses as a stated guess. Most of the diy advice tends to be…..well on the one house I’ve seen this on, mine, this is what happened, so you must have the same problem. Most pro’s know ther are alot more variables to consider. And this doesn’t seem to be a big problem with what seems to be the more experienced diy/part timers around here either. Oh yeah….have a nice day! Jeff
