I finally switched up all my cordless tools to the Dewalt 20v platform. I have both high speed chargers and normal (slow/trickle) chargers. I’ve read a lot of conflicting info that charging at high speed reduces battery life and the kid at the Dewalt store wasn’t able to give me a concrete answer. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of which is better? Any folks out there that have killed their batteries prematurely using fast chargers? As we’re all aware, these batts are pretty spendy and I’d love to keep mine around for a good long time!

It's a tool, use it that way. Most tools these days are throwaways they are so cheap. For as much work as batteries do they hardly enter into price calculations. Has there ever been a time when you wished you had a charged battery?
