I have an old Speed Fastener Model 825 stud driver and I am quickly running out of pins. They have a .25 or 1/4″ diameter head and I have been told that this type of stud gun was outlawed some time ago and only the low velocity type are available now. I hate to toss out a well-cared for tool and I don’t really use it professionally anymore, so I hate to spend the money to replace it. Does anyone know of a source for the 1/4′ diameter head high velocity pins? Loads are no problem since they are .22 caliber and readily available.
Thanks, Hans

Hans-
I don't know. Don't you wonder why they've been taken out of use? There are a ton of guns out there that are not illegal. A hand or an eye cost a lot more than a new tool...
