I have several hitachi nailers, they are all the current model, coil framing nailers. Some are under a months use others are over 4 years old now. The problem I’m having is that two of my guns, on old on and an almost brand new one are both misfiring. The nails are feeding up o.k. they aren’t feeding up straight, When I open the magazine the next two nails are pointing at each other. I thought it was the nails but the problem persists with all nails. I thought that I could get away with the feeder spring, but that did nothing. Does anyone know what part I should be looking at next. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Nick

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
My guess is to try a diff brand of nails. If one gun was a problem, i'd say bad gun. Since it sounds like all,try diff. nails.
It might be nails, but I'm thinking it's how you're treating the nails before they get into the gun. Toss around the coils, cram them into a nail pouch, and the deformities of the coil don't feed reliably.
