My vinyl siding is really dirty with a mix of dirt, green moss(?), and some kind of black stuff (mildew?). I normally wash it down with just water. However, there were always high sections that I couldn’t get to. These are the dirtiest.
I was looking at some house cleaner at Home Depot. It might be from Zep. It is designed to be sucked into your pressure washer and sprayed on the house to get rid of dirt, mildew, and moss.
My concern is safety. I always get hit with some degree of water “bouncing” back at me. I assume there is a danger to skin and eyes. Also, I have a plethora of landscaping surrounding the house in addition to a lawn that I take great pride in caring for. I don’t want any run off from the house to destroy my plants and lawn.
What do you guys use to clean mildew and moss off of the house safely?

My brother always used tsp when he ran his pessure washing business. I'm not sure about effects, but I never heard about him having any problems with it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
