I made a pair of these coat racks. They’re custom made for one of my customers who does embroidery. She holds “shows” and needs to display the various items that she sells and embroiders. In fact, she embroiders all of my shirts with my business name and logo.
They can be set up as a pair with a clothes rod between them or used individually. She didn’t give me a specific design. She just showed me a small one that she uses and said to make bigger ones that can hang more stuff. I designed it with versatility and durability in mind.
And yes, it actually did take me the better part of a day to make them. I expected to spend just a few hours, but there were a lot of steps to making something even this simple.

Nice!
Looks like a limbo bar LOL
What's the wood? Pine?
And I think it would have been tough to find a use for the MultiMaster on that one<G>
Thanks. And yup, all pine to keep weight and cost down.
Not much use for a MultiMaster, but I did need to borrow my brother's drill press to keep the dowel holes square to the post. That was interesting because his drill press is mounted to his bench which sits on a seriously sloping garage floor. Every hole was drilled square to the post, but not plumb.
Nice job. Bet the lady loved them
Nothing better than those quick jobs that let you use youre imagination.
Then you can really say I made those.
NAIL IT !!!
