Well, my builder gave me an estimate for my house. Looking at the breakdown, it looks like wet blown cellulose will cost about $3,000 more then fiberglass (6 inch wall). The overall price for the project is a bit too high right now. It is either cut where I can or wait another year or two to build. Do you all think this is an item I shouldn’t compromise on or is the fiberglass good enough (central Virginia Zone 6-7, hot humid summers, fairly mild winters with some days down to -5 degrees F at the worst).
