How to Bevel Edge of Marble or Granite?
I need to cut 12″x12″ marbles to 4″x4″ pieces to make “dots” between full marble pieces. How do I create the tiny beveled cut edge to match the existing bevels found on the full stones? Also, since this is my first “dot” placement which requires corner cut of four full pieces, are there any advices on what to look out for?

How much of a bevel do you need? I have a "stone" (sort of like a sharpening stone) that I've used to smooth the cut edges on tile.
Since marble is usually pretty soft, something like that might do what you need. It would probably be pretty time consuming, but it should work.
Floor paper. Sand paper foor sanding floors. 100, 120 grit..............
Swittch to autobody black (wet or dry) if you want to fine it up a bit.
Been there done that.
Staple it to a block of wood.

Now are you cutting them.
Many tile saws will do this.
Some the bed tilts. Other have a fixture to hold them at 45.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
I have seen routers with carbide bits used for this, then the edge is polished.Definitely not something you want to do inside. "I cut this piece four times and it's still too short."
