This will be a faus drop ceiling done with drywall (arrow A)
I haven’t decided whether to go with 1/2″ or 1″ , but how is the edge (Arrow B) finished?
Thanks

Engineered materials and vacuum-press laminations prevent warping and keep a tall, flush-panel door from being excessively heavy.

A and B are pointing to the same surface on the drawing I see.
Bob's next test date: 12/10/07

I was wondering the other day if you were still alive.
If you can post that as a Jpeg or a GIF it will reduce file size considerably

OH that would be perfect.
why didn't I think of that.
Just offhand, what about with mud? Could it be finished with mud and or some sort of outside corner piece or something?
I took a new position in the same company. Went from zero calls and no client contact a day (for 9 years) to calls, and irate, nay, po'd clients daily.
Stress and workload levels went from 1 to about 8.
Oh and I did it all with no raise!!
Hope your mother is doing fine.

No?
I've actually had an FHB issue come up missing not too long ago in the mail.
I'll have to re-check the growing stack of "to read" magazines also.

What do you want to see?
A clean sharp edge at the drop in elevation? I would use metal "J" channel. Tape and finish , provides a crisp , clean edge without any added carpentry work.
You could also use bullnose sheet rock corners and have a softened look if that would match the rest of the finish detailing in the house.
THanks.
I've narrowed it down, sort of.
It'll either be the clean sharp edge (w/metal j corner**) or the wood.
I like both, and both will be suffice.
** I knew it was called somthing, my drywalling knowledge is thin at best.
