What’s the best way to frame a sunroom that’s mostly windows so that the frame doesn’t rack (there’s very little sheathing or possibility for braces)?
In pondering this, it would seem that timber-framing techniques would be a possibility, but what’s the prevailing wisdom with conventional framing?

Bruce,
The sunroom roof shear value would have to be great enough, and positively connected to an existing element ( a shear wall or roof) that could overcome the desire of the sunroom roof to peel away from it if the sunroom wall tried to rack.
I think
Good luck, Nathan.
