How does one obtain a Master Plumbers license in ones state? If I call the townships to ask they say “huh, go ask the state.” Ok, who at the state? Or is it an organization I shoiuld inquire about?
I want to get this and learn how to study for it.

Most states have a licensing board that handles the testing and licensing for professions like doctors, lawyers, architects, plumbers, etc. Check with your state department of community affairs or Google "XX State Licensing Boards" with XX being your state.

Go to your state website and their should be a section on licensing showing the requirements. In Michigan, the licensing requirements for electricians and plumbers are quite high. For a builder's license you only need to pass the exam.JT

to get a master plumber license, you first must be a master plumber. 2+3=7
HA HA on the plumber jokes hey I resemble that.
& Mr Wonka first you have to find a state that recognizes a master plumber or even has a title for such.
I'm not sure if the title still exist----- it used to be used a long time ago-----like a master carpenter, master electrician was always the owner.
If it still exist it's an east coast thing.
you know here on the coast we had a lot of fishing boats get sunk and destroyed. so they always looking for good hands. They was an ad in the paper looking for baiters. but you got to be a#1 in the craft.. 2+3=7
try contacting the plumbers local business office - they should have an apprentice program
