Have a re occurring problem that I am hoping you might be able to help us
with.
We are residential builders in Northern California.
Our problem is having problems with voids and pockets in our upright pours,
columns and walls. Some of the pockets go through the complete wall.
Our mix is usually a 3/8″ grout mix for pumping, with usual requirement of
2500 to 4000 psi. with a 4 to 5″ slump. We are careful about using a
vibrator around all edges as we pour. The batch plant is at least 1 Jr away
from our building sites.
Is there anyway to prevent the pockets?
What is the correct procedure for repairing those that occur?
