I’ll come right out: we’re DIY-ers, not pro’s. We are currently remodeling the master bathroom and have removed all tile from the walls and floor. The floor has a plywood subfloor. When I pried the tiles off, a lot the thinset remained on the plywood. Before we lay new tiles, this obviously has to be removed one way or the other.
Any suggestions on what the best/easiest/most efficient way to remove this is? Thanks!

You can do this several ways. One is to just remove the subfloor and put new plywood down. If you're tiling again, make sure your subfloor and underlayment is at least 1-1/4-inch thick (3/4-in plywood and 1/2-inch concrete backerboard). You should also be able to get the thinset up easily with a hoe or shovel too.
*It won't hurt to pound the areas with a mini sledge hammer, as it should break apart.
*4" milwaukee grinder with a diamond blade. makes a dusty mess, but it takes it right off. Or, an old dull carpenters chistle
*Leave thin set on existing sub-floor. Float new thin set over and apply new 5/16 or 1/2 inch wonder board while still wet.Good luck & save your back.
*Thanks everybody! I like the hoe-suggestion, we'll probably give that a shot, with the sledgehammer for high-frustration moments... Thanks again!
*Self Leveling compounds work nice, too. Just dam it up (not damn it) and pour off about 1/4". An hour later it is flat and level.
