How would you insulate sky light tube?
I have two skylights on my roof that feed bathrooms in my house. The skylight tunnels are 24 inches square and framed with 2×4’s that have been drywalled.
The tunnels run 7 feet through the attic. The attic floor has blown in cellulose but the skylight tunnels are totally uninsulated. Just the layer of drywall against the uninsulated attic. You can feel the heat and cold of the attic when you’re under them.
How should I insulate them? Thanks in advance!

You can put fiberglass batts against them and hold it in place with twine or deer netting.
Another idea, screw polyiso boards to the attic side of the studs from the bottom to about 3" below the top. That creates cavities, into which you can scoop some cellulose. Then fill in the tops with polyiso.
What's the R value on the attic floor? I 'd think you'd want to come close to that for the tunnels, too.
