Piffin screws are preferred for your application. (He's the oracle. He can read minds too ya know)
They are pretty damn good. But don't miss and try to pull one out as they are a bear to remove!
And they are not much more than the standard nails. In my area $13. per box more. But also in my area (Florida) they make a BIG difference in the uplift resistance of the decking.
Thumbs up from me!
Mike,
I got a quote today from my nail supplier of $119 per box. What price are you getting them at?
Bruce
Bruce,
They are $53. at Lowes. Can't recall the quantity count but I think they are only in one size box? Cube shaped, maybe 12" x 12" x 12"
Mike
Looks like I need to talk to my nail supplier. Thanks for the info.
