I’m thinking of buying a Campbell Hausfeld HVLP 2000, I’ve read some good things, but also a couple bad. does anyone have any feed back? I’m using to spray deck railings and kitchen cabinets for myself.
Thanks all

I have a couple of HVLP units from Harbor Freight. One is about seven years old and I got a backup about nine months ago(they are exactly the same). On sale they are only 70 bucks and I use them for cabinets all the time. They have the gray ones and a cheaper one but get the bigger one, I thought it was the same as CH.
Depends on what you're intending to spray. Meaning what are you going to put through the gun?

I'll mainly spray Cabot 36 month water based SPF deck & fence finish, waterbased urethane and melamine paint.
When I was HVLP shopping their price caught my eye. Couldn't find one to try so I called them. After some discussion, they suggested I might not want their unit. My interest was furniture-quality, mostly lacquer. They thought I wouldn't like what I got.
I got lucky and happened into a used TIP for about the same price. It's been very good to me. Does a real nice job with auto paint also. Never tried anything water-based.
