I am a building inspector for an architectural firm in Costa Rica. We are working on a 120-unit condo project and my boss has asked me to find a supplier of recessed wall hook up kits for the washing machines. Its a little off my job description but hes the boss. I cant find a supplier here in Costa Rica. We can import from the U. S. if someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Joaquin - plumbers have been using those recessed hookups here in Washington State for a few years now.
Let's see...if you e mail Matt G., I think he has a long list of websites. There is one I have heard of like this one, but it is a bunch of fat assed plumbers lyin' to each other. They should be able to steer you in the right direction. - jb
*One manufacturer is "Jameco". Most plumbing supply houses here carry them, try calling one in the U.S. that is closest to you geographically.
*Here's a bronze valve for $27 USD.Went to http://www.plumbingsupply.com, "indexes", "w", "washing machine valves".
*Mongo- While doing the plumbing install for my washroom I looked long and hard at those single handle shut-offs- and liked them.... But I chickened out at the last minute for fear of parts availability should they start leaking. Maybe parts are readily available but I'd sure hate to be in a position where I was stuck with no parts. Just a thought...Sam
