Hi everyone. Recently my county adopted the unified building code, and along with it they require a contractors license to pull a permit. I’m a part-time handy man and rarely do jobs that require a permit, but I would like to expand into kitchens and baths. So here’s the problem, to get a contractors license I must either have a degree in building realted field, or 3 years full time verifiable experience, or take the ICBO contractor test. So I pretty much have to take the test, I got the code book but don’t think that I’ll be real successful with just that book. Are there any good study guides or books out there? Thanks,
Jake
