Another ICF question as local experience with ICF is sparse. Supposedly some B.I.’s require the cement to see daylight for above grade use as a termite block. Does anyone have experience with this? How does this work with stone or brick veneer? Would a metal shield between ICF blocks or panels suffice? Is there a need for a gap between bricks and ICF as with a stick wall or can the bricks pretend to be a parge coat and be flush with the ICF?
