ICF foundation on summer camp vs poured concrete
looking to rebuild camp on a pond in northwestern Maine. it will be in existing location and with same footprint due to proximity to lake.previous camp was on pads and old/decrepate. Looking for input on whether its worth doing an ICF block walls for foundation vs traditional poured concrete foundation. Do not plan to use in winter in future, but who knows…just starting and only have a poured foundation quote so far. I can do my own earthwork and could even set the blocks. Thoughts? Its not a big place and we’d just as soon do it right once, but of course looking to save money.

Standard formed concrete
The ICFs advantage is that you get an insualted wall. And might be easier for an amature to form up than standard concrete forms are.
If you aren't heating then you don't need the insulation, and even if you are, you would probably be better off doing a well insulated floor over the crawl space, than insulating the crawl space.
Fabric forms might be even better for you. Certainly cheaper.
