Let’s not let this turn into a Festool vs. Ez smart thread – I just had noticed today that my ez rails were just a skintch off square at each end and thusly giving me less than the promised perfection.
So I finally got around to trimming an 1/8″ off each end resulting in them now being perfectly square. Used an aluminum cutting blade in my Dewalt 12″ slider. You could use an older regular carbide tipped blade with decent results as well I’d bet.
If you own the system – might be worth a checksee.
Funny thing is – all that damn talk about the bridge and CNC milling and such, and my darn rails aren’t even square??? Makes me want a green and silver system instead! (don’t start!)

Julian, I think Dino told me not to butt the rail sections tightly together...the connecting splines do the aligning. It's been working for me.
Has Dino been banished? I tried to post to him, but no go...
