i am designing a retirement home for a friend in wintergreen, virginia. we do not live there, we are in cincinnati. so i thought someone might be able to recommend a builder in the area. we are going to visit soon so that i can see the lot and get information from the community about design guidelines and other details and i thought it might be a good time to talk to a couple potential builders as well.

Thanks, Mike.
Wintergreen is about 2.5 hours from us. A bit more than we would typically travel. I wouldn't rule it out 100%, though.
VaTom is not far from Wintergreen. Unless you want to build a PAHS home, he's probably not your man. But he may know someone in the area who's good.
Good luck!

What style and level of home are you thinking about? Im in the Charlottesville area ( close to VATom), which is about 45 - 50 minutes away. I can recommend you a number of companies, that with the current business climate would probably find the drive not a problem.
Ill e-mail you phone #, you can tell me more what your looking for.
