I’m interested in using a faux slate roofing product called “ECOSTAR MAJESTIC SLATE”.Does anybody have any expriance with this product?
Skim-coating with joint compound covers texture, renews old drywall and plaster, and leaves smooth surfaces ready to paint.

I just noticed your posting back in March and was wondering if you used this product and if so how did it go? I am considering using imitation slate on a job and had heard of the one you mentioned and another called Authentic Roof...used on an episode of This Old House.
