Installed a bath fan/heatlamp combo recently,of course I had to purchase bulbs,too. At the risk of going out of the boundaries of this forum, (are there any????),my question is this; what’s the difference between red and clear infra-red bulbs,outside of their color? All theories welcome!!!!

Very little difference. The red puts out less visable light, both put out the same amount of heat.
