I have a 5 pieces of wall cabinets that came with separate light rails to install, the light rails are 3/4″ thick for under cabinet lights My question for experts here are
1. Is it easier to install light rails when wall cabinets are on floor or install them after mounting wall cabinets.
2. should I use trim screws or finish nails? I have 18ga and 15ga air nailers. and should glue also be used with fastners??
Thank you

I install the light rail after the cabinets are hung. What would you do if you had several cabinets that join together?
EDIT; I see you said that each box came with a seperate rail, I would still do the same thing.
As for installing them, you could use trim screws, I'd drill a pilot hole to make it a tad easier.
I dont like the idea of nailing them, they can drop/loosen up over time or the nail can shot out the sides of the rail.
