I am installing double (saloon type swinging) doors. My doors meet in the middle however, I have a gap on each side of my doors. I know the doors have to have room to pivot, but I need to close the space. This room will not be used all the time and AC and heat from my home will escape through this gap if I don’t find a way to close it. Anyone have any answers???

You might try a weatherstripping designed for the bottom of a door.
