I ‘ve built a set of kitchen cabinets ( first time) with flush (inset) drawer and door fronts. I used Accuride undermounrt slides(Eclipse Easy Close). I have been spending hours trying to get the drawers to close flush. They are either too far in/out or out plane top to bottom no matter how many times I adjust/remount the slides. I think I have them just right but the next time I open and close they may or may not be right. Is this the nature of these slides that there is enough play that in a non-overlay application they may not close consistently? Each time you move or adjust you have to use a new screw hole. I’m starting to get Swiss cheese. Anyone with experience/tips with this application would be appreciated. I’m heading out for another round with them and will check responses later today(Pacific time) Thanks in advance.

If one time they are just right and the next they are out of adjustment, I would think that your screws are slipping. You might need to fill in the screw hole with some splinters and epoxy if you're running out of "good" wood. I had inset doors on my kitchen and they are a PITA. My current project is a couple very large wardrobe cabs. I bought some slide of Ebay which were cheap, but came without screws. I bought some slide screws from Woodcraft and they are MUCH better than screws that usually come with they KV slides I normally buy. Maybe some new screws might help you also. Good Luck

Are you using a template? ie. nothing more than a ~square piece of plywood that you line up in the box so the slide goes where you want it BEFORE you drill the holes.

I've already installed the tracks after the cabs where installed plumb level & square.
You can have everything lined up until you move the cabs around even alittle & rack things outta wack. Installing in the shop is usually easier than in the field but with insets sight installed may go better for you.
Also if you can mount a block of wood behind the face frame to mount the slide too, say in a slotted mounting screw hole allowing you to move your track back & forth & when everything is good, lock it all into place with the last screw in the face frame.
Hope this makes seance.
