Last time I installed vinyl soffit, it took me and a helper most of a day to tear out the old and run new on about 40 foot of the back of the house (first floor, but all ladder work). And I thought we were moving fast that day..but maybe I wasn’t.
I hate to do soffits and fascia..but need to estimate for a large job doing just that..One story, hip roof, 250 l.f. of soffit to install. All old soffit is already removed.. Anyone know the going install rate per foot (labor) these days? I got the mats down at about $4/ft.

about 2.50 or 3.00 on the Pensacola area, still seems cheap.
Hmmm..as I suspected.. and I can't make a penny on $3 a foot. Guess I'll have to leave this one to the Mexican crews.
i'd try for about $10 total.
Yea, that's about the number I wanted to get at..but then there's a lot more that needs to be done as well (like frame returns on each and every truss tail back to the house)..also I'd be removing all the rotting 2x4 subfascia and putting up 5/4x6 miratec and new dripcap all the way around--yikes! And I hate doing it...especially under the burning sun. I will have to make it worth my while.
