I have a masonry home with a 3/4 inch air gap between concrete block and plaster. I plan on covering with 1/2 drywall since there is a lot of cracks and signs of a lot of bad repairs over the years. Would it be worth using a foam insulation board over the plaster? Will I have a moisture trapping problem? What would be the best insulation board to use? Thanks much for any help.
