insulating cinder block walls. home cinder block, from foundation to roof.  floor joist inserted in walls, no foundation plate. interior walls approx. 1 1/2 thick. 1 inch gap between cinder block and sheetrock.  furring strips anchored to cinderblock  walls to attach sheetrock. home freezing cold. best way to insulatate walls. Live inNew Jersey
