How much insulation is enough. I am building a timber frame home with Sip’s panel’s. My customer is really concerned about sound between floors. The house has radaint heat so a foil and closed cell foam insulation w/an R-7.5 value will be used between each joist. Is this enough or should I add R-11 fiberglass batt insulation?

Albee,
There's a product made in Canada for sound proofing it's the size of regular FB 3 1/2" thick. It's called Roxlu (Better check the spelling) it works very well.
