IMO ... not really. If you were a manufacturer, you probably know the nuances that make differences in quality, but I've never heard of such talk. JM, Certainteed, Owens Corning, all about the same. May be some differences in available sizes/R-values, but I'd be surprised.
Not a performance measure, but JM is a lot less itchy and irritating to install than Certainteed. Go will cellulose if you can.
