insulation baffles meeting eave/soffit
So if I’m putting foam or cardboard insulation baffles below the sheathing for ventilation, then I need to block off the eaves of the house so they don’t get filled with insulation (cellulose in this case). I know some people cut cardboard or foam or something rigid to the right shape, but I really have better things to do before the winter. Somebody must make this sort of thing. I thought that I saw something like this in JLC, but I can’t find it. Any help?
Thanks,
Brad

The big boxes (Lowes, Home Depot) carry insulation baffels. Any Insulation supply house has them. Good Luck.
Birth, school, work, death.....................
Around here, the typical deal is to staple up the baffle, then stuff a 6" long piece of R19 insulation into the space right about the top plate. That keeps the blown-in insulation inside.
Google for Accuvent. It was in JLC. My lumber supplier doesn't stock it, but gets it UPSed.
I used 100 of them in a trussed roof job with 12" heel we insulated last week.
Thanks for the ideas everyone.
