We are a Logistics company based in London working on around 40 projects, out of which 4 of them are in Waste Management.
Our first priority is to reuse materials coming out from construction. I was just wondering would you be interested to reuse insulations in any of your projects.
Insulation are not in good condition, however, if it interests you or you know anybody who might be interested to use we can deliver it free of cost in London.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks and Regards

That is an interesting question... reuse of insulation?
The problem I see is that since insulation is normally a very porrus product, it can contian all sorts of "extras", be it mold, dust, or fragrance from the previous installation. It's also of unknown R value since it's been compressed or lost its expansiveness due to age. This is also setting aside the question of asbestos / lead dust contamination that's also possible.
I can imagine a device that shreds the insulation and, in the process, knocks loose a lot of the dirt, similar to a cotton gin.
Yes, but then you get into the savings behind recycling... a pile of glass wool is pretty inert in a landfill, but the energy to run a recycling operation is not.
Yeah, just kind of free associating.
Another possibility is that it could be used for filler/binder in some sort of cement product.
I would think that fiberglass could easily be recycled into new fiberglass, It's basically glass!
